I enjoyed most of this script but like Ron said, there are no subplots or character depth.

You mentioned Ted was in the military and we saw that he could shoot a gun which came in handy in the end which was great, but I wish you would have went deeper into his character.

I was confused on why Tee Jay turned on them so quickly and the fight at the end bothered me. Why is Tee Jay flip flopping again? The way Everet died was very anticlimactic.

For a great way to make a memorable character.

    Good Luck

Really couldn’t get into this. The story never really picked up in my opinion.

Linda and Everett were decent characters.

The rest were merely your typical country homely characters with a few jokes and sarcastic talk, which served well but for only so long.

A more focused plot would be great. I understand that the whole point is, everybody wants to get their hands on this gold, however, just focusing on this and not having any strong subplots or character depth makes the story line thin.

However, I’m sure with another rewrite all of these things will come together more naturally.
