Bee Gone

In a hive where only the Bee Squadron are allowed to leave, a teen-aged bee named RANDY fails his training class which yet again postpones his life-long dream of one day leaving the hive.

When his strict UNCLE KIRK hears about it, he scolds Randy and tells him he needs to get serious.

Upset that he can do nothing right, Randy storms out of the house. As chance would have it, he runs into a HIPPY BEE who plants the idea of running away. Randy loves the idea and thus begins his journey into the world!

Not too long after he sets out, Randy meets three other teen-aged bees, MARSHA (a young and beautiful up-and-coming Queen Bee), ARCHIBALD (the jealous pretty boy), and RALPHY (the pudgy and adorable slob).

Having crossed paths with these three teen bees, Randy feels blessed that he has finally found freedom. But little do any of them know, Randy has just put them in more danger and bigger challenges than they could ever have imagined! Why? Because…

Meanwhile, back at home, the maniacal QUEEN is livid. She has turned Uncle Kirk against Randy, and he is trying to find Randy to bring him back to the hive where the Queen can punish him as she pleases.

But when the Queen of the Hive uncovers the existence of her sister, the Queen wages an all out War of the Hives where the victor takes or keeps control of the once peaceful Bee Central… and the little runaway bee Randy.

Now feeling responsible for this entire war, Randy must grow up and be responsible, leading the way to victory and saving the friends who helped him along the way. Can he do it?

Having devised my own animated bee movie, I found this most interesting. You have the potential for a great movie. Your description is detailed and the plot engaging. Lots of great character development. I would like to have learned why Randy is a danger to the hive, however.

I agree with the others, this is an overused concept. But nevertheless, it shows promise, a cute film for kids, with some serious lessons. Hope you go far with it.

Bee Movie and A Bug’s Life

just like Flick leaves the ant colony….(very similar story line you have)

Your premise is really quite overused in my opinion.

Bee Central – you probably pulled this out of Wreck it Ralph…

OK, so a cute conglomeration of several animated tales.
Nothing original here… The Queen was also a character played in “A Bug’s Life”
It is cute… a runaway bee that comes back to save the day…

but sorry, this is played out already in theaters many times…

an outcast ant, snail, fish…the list goes on.

Just think you need a different conflict and more innovative story line.

    Good luck

    Jay
