Dialogue very natural. Character interaction is very good. The potential is there to be very funny.

Comedy is never an easy thing to review. What's funny to one person is not always funny to someone else . . . and that happens to be the case here. I thought the concept was funny, but that's about all. The dialogue for the two main characters was very stock and cheesy. There was no identity in the two characters. I felt like they were saying the exact same thing and their roles were basically interchangeable. Both of them had that stereotypical "movie mobsters" thing going on, which can be fun if you actually like the characters, which I did not.

Now on the positive side, I thought the character of Joe Jr. was written better. The dialouge was good, also a bit stereotypical, but he at least he had his own voice. Actually, the only time I even cracked a smile reading the script was when Joe Jr. called Vito, Zippy.

There were also several grammar and spelling issues in the script, but that's a pretty easy fix. Another issue that should be mentioned is the length. This is a comedy, it should not be 121 pages. I seriously would consider trimming it down to at least 105, maybe even less. Unless you're the Coen Brothers you need to end the funny around an hour and a half.

    Best of luck!
