(Cather In The Rye, True Romance) A man known as Fingers, who has been alien to the human experience his entire life, makes the decision to kill himself on his thirtieth birthday.  A wrench is thrown into his plan, however, when a chance encounter with a woman who is desperately trying to find her way in the world puts them both on the bumpy, yet darkly comedic, road to redemption.

He soon finds out that he has inadvertently been sucked into his new friend’s Russian gang that commit crimes and kill people. When Caleb tries to get out, the gang attacks him and his family. Caleb will do anything it takes to protect his family from his former Russian ‘family.’

Through Maria’s Eyes by David Rich.  Gizella, a poor young Jewish woman, takes on the identity of Maria, a Christian, to save her family and herself from Nazi persecution, with only hope and determination to pull her through.
How To Run Away Without Leaving Home by Daniel Appelt. Henry Henderson, a college dropout secretly living in his parents’ attic, must find a way to get a tenant evicted before Thanksgiving break.
