WHAT:

Screenplay Fest is an ONLINE COMPETITION where writers submit their SCREENPLAYS.
WHERE:  SCREENPLAYS will be UPLOADED to our website in LIST form - displaying Screenplay Title, Log Line, and Ranking.  Each Screenplay will also have its own Private Page - showing the screenplay's FEEDBACK, RATINGS, and Writer's Email.
WHO: Producers, Agents, Writers, our Judges, You and ANYONE will be able to "VOTE ON" the Screenplays and leave "FEEDBACK." 

The Highest Rated Screenplays win AWARDS valuing over $5000 to improve and expose your Screenplay.

Awards will be given to the TOP FOUR SCREENPLAYS. Awards include the opportunity to MEET 100+ EXECUTIVES at the Great American Pitchfest, Story Lessons from Renowned Teacher ROBERT MCKEE, Script Analysis from TOP 15 Hollywood Consultant Daniel Manus, E-Queries to 6,000+ Execs, 5 Script ANALYSIS Packages, and much much more!
HOW: Each writers' LOG LINE as well as their SCREENPLAY RATING are listed on the same page for multiple MONTHS, earning FEEDBACK.

You may scroll through all of the Screenplay's Log Lines and their Ratings at ease. The Screenplay Rating is determined by the writer's Screenplay Reviews/Votes.

If an Industry Representative is interested in a writer's Log Line, simply click on their Screenplay, read it, and contact the writer if you enjoy the Screenplay.  It's that easy!

Screenplays, including their Log Lines, will be posted on our website throughout 2012.  Winners will be announced in January 2013.

THERE WILL BE FIVE ONLINE CONTESTS:

  1. March 5, 2012 to May 1, 2012
  2. May 5, 2012 to July 1, 2012
  3. July 5, 2012 to September 1, 2012
  4. September 5, 2012 to November 1, 2012
  5. November 5, 2012 to January 1, 2013 - "The GRAND PRIZE Contest"

Only the TOP FOUR WINNERS from EACH of the online contests will be considered "Quarter-Finalists" and will be entered into the Grand Prize Contest.  Why hold these Deadline Contests?  So that you may start earning Feedback on your script immediately! 

The remaining Screenplays will be notified and have the option to resubmit into a future contest deadline for a Discounted "Resubmission" Fee.  Why Resubmit?  Update your screenplay from the feedback you were given, and have another chance to be entered into the Grand Prize Contest.

WHEN:

Deadlines are important.  Why?  Because, screenplays will only be competing against other screenplays submitted to that deadline.  For example, Early Submissions will only compete against other screenplays submitted to the Early "Online Contest#1" Deadline (excluding the finalists since they will earn a spot in the grand prize contest.)
