• There are three individual online contests.  Every script submitted will be posted.

  •  January 5, 2011 to February 20, 2011

  •  February 20, 2011 to April 20, 2011

  •  April 20, 2011 to June 20, 2011

• The forth online contest will include the TOP FOUR winners from the individual online contests.  This contest is considered the GRAND PRIZE contest - held on August 20, 2011 to December 15, 2011.

• Around August 20, 2011:  Quarterfinalists are chosen and their screenplays will be posted on our website.

• Around August 20, 2011 to 11:59pm on December 15, 2011:  Online Voting Process - where judges, writers, and anyone will be able to "review" and "vote on" your screenplay online.

• A MINIMUM OF 15 SCREENPLAYS and a MAXIMUM OF 30 will be accepted/uploaded to the Grand Prize Contest - not every script submitted will be entered into the Grand Prize Contest.  These script are considered Quarter-finalists.

• VOTING:

  • You must vote on and review a minimum of TWO screenplays (other than yours if you are a member) for your vote to count and to be eligible for "The Voter's Award."

• REVISION:

  • Submissions of new drafts or corrected Screenplays will be accepted as long as they follow the terms:  One Free Revision for each contestant only in the Grand Prize Contest.  Further revisions include a $20.00 processing fee. Unlimited revision submissions. Revisions should be emailed to phillyscriptfest@screenplayfest.com.

• CATEGORY (GENRE GROUPINGS):

  • All submissions qualify a script to compete in ONE Genre Grouping.  Each additional genre group requires an additional $15.00 entry fee.  There are FOUR groups of genres.  Submitting a screenplay to TWO genre groups requires an additional fee of $15.00.  To apply for an additional genre group please CLICK HERE.

• You may NOT vote on each contestants Screenplay more then once.  If you do so you will be disqualified.

AWARDS - All Grand Prizes and Honorable Mentions will be announced four to six months after the final deadline. Winning scripts will remain posted on the website.  Winning contestants will be allowed to submit one revised script update per year.  Each additional revised submission requires a $20.00 processing fee.  To submit a screenplay revision please email us at phillyscriptfest@screenplayfest.com.
